THE DOOR | Messing with the time

EVERYONE WANTS TO CHANGE THE PAST, BUT THE FUTURE HOLDS SOMETHING GREATER THAN YOU EVER IMAGINED...

LET THE PAST FADE AND LIVE FULLY IN THE PRESENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.

Alex had spent half his life consumed by a single obsession—building a time machine. The idea had taken root when he was thirteen, inspired by a book that described time travel as a mere theory. But to Alex, it was more than fiction. It was his only hope to undo the tragedy that had shaped his entire existence.

At five years old, Alex lost his parents in a car accident, leaving him in the care of his cruel aunt. She treated him as nothing more than a servant, forcing him to do all the chores while she secretly spent the fortune his parents had left behind for him. Despite his harsh upbringing, Alex excelled in his studies, determined to create a way to rewrite his past.

At thirteen, the idea of a time machine became his purpose. By the time he finished high school, his parents' lawyer revealed the truth about his inheritance. With his newfound independence, Alex pursued physics in college, eventually specializing in quantum physics. At twenty-five, he completed his master’s degree and withdrew from the world, dedicating the next fifteen years of his life to one goal—constructing a device that could manipulate time itself.

After years of relentless research, Alex finally built his time machine—a doorway that could transport him to any point in time. On a quiet Monday morning at exactly 8:00 AM, he decided to test it. Before activating the machine, he intentionally broke a mirror in his room. He wanted to verify the effects of his machine by undoing something simple. With a deep breath, he set the date, time, and location, then fired up the machine.

When Alex returned, the mirror was intact.

His time machine worked.

But just as he touched the restored mirror, a spark erupted inside the machine. The door flung open, and to Alex’s horror, he saw himself stepping through it. The other Alex—calm and unaffected—walked straight to the mirror, shattered it again, and turned back toward the doorway. Just before stepping inside, he met Alex’s gaze and uttered chilling words:

“You messed with time, now time will mess with you.”

Then, the door closed. And the machine exploded.

When Alex regained consciousness, he found the time machine had set itself to two different timelines—one past, one future. He panicked and tried to shut it down, but nothing worked. He even blew up the door using gunpowder, but each time he did, he would black out and wake up moments before attempting again. It was an endless loop—a cruel paradox. No matter what he did, time reset itself.

Then, the machine activated on its own.

The door opened, revealing a scene from the past: Alex, on the day he first tested the machine, standing before the mirror. He watched as his past self broke the mirror and triggered the first time loop. The door shut automatically.

Twelve hours later, the machine activated again, this time showing the future. Alex saw himself panicking, walking out of the machine, breaking the mirror, and delivering the same ominous warning: “You messed with time, now time will mess with you.” The door closed again.

Every twelve hours, this cycle repeated.

Alex was trapped.

He desperately recalculated everything, searching for a solution. But the more he studied the loop, the more he realized something strange. Each time his future self spoke, he wasn’t addressing the past Alex. He was looking straight ahead—as if speaking directly to Alex in the present.

The next time the machine activated, Alex paid closer attention. As his future self spoke, he noticed something he had overlooked before. The time, date, and location displayed on the machine weren’t from the future.

They were from the present.

The realization hit him like a shockwave. The Alex stepping through the door wasn’t some future version of him.

It was him. Right now.

Summoning every ounce of courage, Alex did something different. As soon as the machine fired up, he grabbed the knob and opened the door himself.

And what he saw made his blood run cold.

Through the doorway, an infinite number of versions of himself stood, each holding the same door handle, staring back at him. Millions of Alexes, all trapped in the same paradox.

Overwhelmed with fear, he stepped through.

The moment he crossed the threshold, everything changed.

Alex found himself back in his room. The mirror was intact. The time machine was untouched—never tested. He checked the date and time.

He was back where it all began.

The answer was clear now. If he had successfully changed the past—if he had prevented his parents’ accident—they would have been trapped in time, neither alive nor dead. Lost in an endless loop like him.

Some things were not meant to be changed.

With a newfound understanding, Alex destroyed the time machine. He burned all his research and wiped every trace of his work. He walked outside, inhaling the crisp morning air, and let go of the burden he had carried for decades.

For the first time in his life, he chose to move forward.

“I won’t live in the past. I’ll live for the future.”

EVERYONE WANTS TO CHANGE THE PAST FOR A REASON, BUT THE FUTURE HOLDS SOMETHING GREATER THAN YOU EVER IMAGINED…

LET THE PAST FADE AND LIVE FULLY IN THE PRESENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE.

Love story | When we met for the first time

The love story of a couple who fell in love with each other but destiny kept them apart... I was studying in a college far from my hometown. Mostly, I used to spend my time alone in my apartment. As I was good in my studies, I usually ended up having uninvited friends over. But after some time, I got used to it and even enjoyed their company. Well, time was just passing by. After a year, my sister married and moved to a city near my college, so I often visited her. I remember, maybe it was my second or third visit to her, and we usually had coffee on her balcony. During one of these visits, I noticed a girl in a gallery across from us. I can't express my emotions, but I was stunned. In a nutshell, if I want to describe her, "ANGEL" would be a more appropriate word. Beautiful eyes, fair skin, long hair, and perfect lips. I was staring at her and couldn't help myself. After a minute, she looked at me and smiled. I don't know how or why that happened, but I was lost ...

TWO MOUNTAINS (A Story of the Curse)

LOVE CAN DO MIRACLES. LOVE CAN DO ANYTHING... "Daddy... Daddy... Please wait for me! Don't leave me behind!" I called out, running after my dad. He was taking me to the jungle to collect wood for cooking. I was 15 years old then, and it was the first time my dad had ever taken me to the forest. I had never been to the woods before, though my grandma had told me countless stories about it. She would always say, "ROOT-WIG isn’t just a jungle—it’s life itself." Her words made me eager to visit this extraordinary place. After a 20-minute walk, we reached the jungle, and just as Grandma said, it truly was alive. The towering trees, red grass, yellow pathways, and tranquil air created a surreal atmosphere. The moment I stepped in, I felt like I had breathed life itself. My dad warned me not to wander off, but my curiosity got the better of me. I followed the yellow path, which led me to a river—a breathtakingly beautiful river, unlike anything I’d ever seen. I drank f...

Love Story | I married a dead woman

Love story happened when you want nothing but just love... Tik, Tik, Tik, that was the only sound was there with me. Sunday night, it was almost two am, and I was still trying to complete my drawing. I had fixed a deadline for myself to complete my work as I always preferred to be on time. I didn't know what was happened to me that day, but I was not able to concentrate on my work. But, somehow till morning, I was able to complete my drawing, and I went straight to my bed. I woke up around three pm that day, and I forgot that I needed to go to work. So I packed everything in a hurry and went for work. I always used to share my work on social sites but, that day, I forgot to upload it, so I uploaded it in the night, and I went to bed. Next morning when I checked my account I got like plenty of likes and comment but, in those all comments I found one comment very eye-catching "WHENEVER I SEE YOUR ART, I FEEL LIKE YOU DREW ONE OF MY LIFE DREAMS" this was th...
